Hi! I'm Bob.
I love what I do! Software engineering, team management & business operations.
I utilize my experience with software engineering, distributed team management, and business operations (both domestic and international) to create solutions to challenging problems while helping my team members grow and succeed. I enjoy learning by pushing myself outside of my comfort zone.
My wife DeeAnn and I are proud parents of four children, two grown Purdue University graduates and two in elementary school. I have a passion for helping children, and spend time volunteering in social services.

Founder at One Fact, Inc
It is my honor and pleasure and duty to recommend Robert (Bob) Mulvey.
I have known and worked side by side and partnered with Bob for 25 years. We worked together at MailCode, Pitney Bowes, Mentor Graphics, Envera and One Fact Inc. Indeed, he is the co-founder of One Fact Inc and continues to serve as the Operations Officer. Bob's loyalty, devotion, skill, attention to detail and kindness make it such that I keep him close as a friend and a business ally.
Bob has a broad technical background. He has skills in a wide variety of engineering, programming and IT arenas. However, where Bob shines is in new and emerging areas of technology. He is quick to learn and grasp the key capabilities of emerging technologies.
Bob has organizational and managerial skills. He can build, staff and lead teams. He can train, mentor and foster productivity among departments of various levels of technical responsibility.
Bob understands that the customer comes first. He recognizes demand and is able to match a company's offerings with needs of the market. At Mentor Graphics and One Fact Inc, Bob often proposed forward-looking solutions that well served the needs of our customer base. Thus forging ongoing business relationships with clientele.
Sieze the opportunity to engage Robert (Bob) Mulvey!

I’ve worked with Bob for more than twenty years on a range of projects. Sometimes he managed me, sometimes I contracted for him, but mostly we’ve worked together toward a common goal.
Bob gets that work isn’t separate from life; it’s part of it. He treats people with the same respect whether he’s writing code, leading teams, or managing globally distributed projects. He knows that strong products come from strong teams, and he leads with that in mind. He measures his success by the people who grow with him and the products they build together.
He plans carefully, delegates with purpose, and stays close enough to understand what’s really happening. Technically, he brings range and depth, becoming an expert in whatever he works on. Operationally, he balances people, process, and product in a way that keeps teams aligned and momentum strong.
I haven’t had the chance to hire Bob myself, but if my projects ever scale to that point, he’d be one of the first calls I’d make. Any team, from a small build to a global operation, would be stronger with him on it.

I had the pleasure of working with Bob for several years, during which time he consistently demonstrated exceptional technical expertise, leadership, and integrity. As a software architect and technology team leader, Bob combines deep technical knowledge with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach that elevates the entire team’s performance.
He has a rare ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, efficient, and elegant systems — always keeping long-term strategy and maintainability in mind, and keeping a complex technology roadmap well organized and flexible. Beyond his technical strengths, Bob is an excellent mentor who fosters collaboration, innovation, and professional growth among his peers.
Any organization would be fortunate to have Bob leading their technology initiatives. I highly recommend him for any senior engineering or technology leadership role.
I solve problems. I am a full stack engineering manager and software architect. Skills include analytical thinking, and creative problem solving. Experience allows me to draw on many technologies while also incorporating ideas from diverse cross functional inputs.

Bob has a strong work ethic, an incredible ability to design a system with forethought and an eye towards maintainability and ease of configuration. Bob's attitude makes it a pleasure to be around him, and the work easier to do.

“Bob was a good manager and developer. He was able to keep the business issues in perspective and balance the engineering needs with the business needs at the same time. Bob avoided getting caught up in the emotion of the moment and took time to think through a problem before acting.”

"Bob is both very technical and a good project manager. He can either go in and write the required code to make an application work, or he can instruct others on how to implement a design and manage their progress on the project."
